The following High Growth participating companies have won business awards:
Altern Energy was a start up company on commencement of the High Growth Programme.
In 2010 they won the Environmental Business of the Year Award due to the amount of carbon savings they are carrying out.
Space world Ltd started out as a pre start and are now a successful business in Merseyside. They were awarded “Best New Business” in November 2009 in the Knowsley Business Awards and have created 33 new jobs since start up.
This established company based in Salford won an “Inspiring Women Business Award” in 2009. It was awarded to Claire Gibson the Managing Director. For more details on these awards please visit

Jane Scott, Managing Director and Claire Gibson, Director of Keystage Teachers Supply who are an established company based in Blackburn won the Northwest Business of the Year Award 2010 at the North West Women in Business 2010 awards, Lancashire.
