Grassroots Kitchen

Grassroots kitchen is a unique business that provides both web and retail store based access to all things cooking and food!

It is focussed on community, support, and education in all areas of food, whether it be cooking for nutrition during pregnancy or sport training, for a medical condition, cooking on a budget or to wow guests at a party.

Grassroots Kitchen is a hub for the local community to engage online and in retail stores to take part in cookery classes, children’s parties, buying food related gifts, bakeware and learning from local experts at events with speakers from local farms, allotments, chefs, personal trainers and nutritionists, as well as local people and businesses who link in with the subject.

It will initially be web-based in order to raise funds and develop a data base in preparation for opening the first of many retail stores from year three.  After the first store has been tried and tested the model will be franchised in order to grow the brand nationwide.
