Auralis Ltd was a specialist pharmaceutical company with a focus on developing medicines to address unmet medical needs within niche patient groups.
The company enrolled on the High Growth Programme in 2009 with a turnover of £1 million. During its time on the programme the company increased its turnover to £3 million, increased its employed staff from two to five and moved to a larger office to accommodate growth. Auralis was then acquired by the US company Viropharma Inc. for £20m in May 2010, delivering a seven fold investor return.
Former Auralis Director Simon Bryson commented “We were fortunate to have been introduced to David Killworth and the High Growth Programme during a rapidly evolving period for Auralis, when we were looking for commercially focused support to enable us to develop our European marketing strategy.”
“With encouraging sales growth and further ambitious plans for the products in our pipeline, David helped us to develop a plan for growth and KPI’s to monitor our progress. He brought a fresh pair of eyes and best practice advice on how best to approach things, without trying to change the direction of our business or force us to use methodologies which didn't fit our business.”
