Pre Start Entrepreneurs
Having an idea is one thing doing something about it is another. The programme is designed to assist aspiring entrepreneurs to unravel their business proposition and get started. You maybe already in a job but you have the desire to take your idea to the next stage and build a business around it. If you are one of these people then contact our high growth team to understand how we can mobilise your idea into action. All enquiries are treated confidentially and we will arrange a time that is convenient to meet with a high growth coach. At the meeting the coach will talk through your business idea and they will explore three key aspects of the idea:
The Commercial Drivers - who is your idea targeted at and what are the factors that will create success. The philosophy here is “you must not invent anything you can't sell”
Human Factors - have you got the team and the rounded skills needed to build a high growth business. Every company must have a team that comprises thinkers, doers, sellers and controllers
Resource Issues - what are the financial needs of the project, premises, IT, infrastructure. What does going it alone mean for your life?
Pre start entrepreneurs will receive:
- 1/2 day initial coaching assessment undertaken by a Sub Regional Manager
- 1/2 day with an appointed business coach to work up a high growth project brief and template
- An average of 10 half days generic and specialist coaching interventions to support implementation
- 7 half day specialist workshops that cover key high growth issues, delivered by experts - (coaching sessions would be delivered in between events)
Ongoing support through advice, tools and techniques via this High Growth website.
The high growth programme will provide entrepreneurs with access to the skills and expertise vital to setting up and building a sustainable business. The programme will provide specialist assistance in areas scanning the spectrum from finance, through to sales, marketing, IP, NED (Non Executive Directors) appointment and talent management.
